  1. Park in a safe, level location and turn on your hazard lights.

  2. Locate your vehicle’s jack, wrench, and tire tools.

  3. Engage your parking brake to prevent rolling.

  4. Loosen the lug nuts slightly before lifting the vehicle.

  5. Jack up the vehicle using the proper jack points listed in your owner’s manual.

  6. Remove the wheels and rotate them according to your vehicle’s recommended pattern (front-to-back or cross rotation).

  7. Reinstall the wheels and hand-tighten the lug nuts.

  8. Lower the vehicle and torque the lug nuts to factory specifications.

  9. Check tire pressure and tread condition—and you’re done!
